📰 RSS Feed Parser

See exactly what is inside an RSS or Atom feed: every item with its title, link, date and image - and a check for the problems that make Pinterest, feed readers and news apps skip items. Export the result to CSV or a plain list of URLs.

What the checker looks for

  • Images - Pinterest's auto-publish and many news apps need an image per item: an <enclosure>, a <media:content> / <media:thumbnail>, or an image inside the description. Items without one are often skipped silently.
  • Dates - every item should have a date a program can read (RFC 822 in RSS, ISO 8601 in Atom). "yesterday" or a missing date pushes the item to the wrong place - or out.
  • Links - links must be full URLs. A relative link like /my-post works on your site but breaks in every reader.
  • Duplicates - the same link twice usually means a publishing bug and gets the item posted twice.

Why loading by URL sometimes fails

Browsers only let a web page read another site's files if that site allows it. Many feeds do not, so loading by URL can be refused even though the feed is fine. When that happens, open the feed in a new tab, copy everything and paste it here - the result is the same, and nothing you paste leaves your browser.
