🧭 Topic Cluster Map

Turn the searches Google already shows you for into topics. Each topic shows how often you appear, how well you rank and what to do next - so you can see where one good article would cover twenty searches at once.

1. Add your searches

Upload a Search Console export (Performance → Export → Download CSV - the ZIP or Queries.csv), or paste a plain list of keywords below, one per line.

How the topics are found

Every search is split into its meaningful words - question words like "what" and "how", and describing words like "explained", "guide" or "price", are set aside. Each word gets a weight: the total impressions of all searches that contain it. A search then joins the topic of its heaviest word, so "quantum computing explained" and "how does a quantum computer work" end up together under "quantum". When the same two words appear side by side in at least half of a topic's searches - like "open banking" - the topic is named after the pair.

Reading the actions

  • Write a dedicated article - the topic gets impressions, but your average position is worse than 10. Google is showing you, but no page is good enough to rank. One focused article that answers the main questions usually beats several thin ones.
  • Improve and expand the page - average position 4-10. You are close; add the sub-questions listed under the topic to the page that ranks.
  • Keep it updated - you already rank in the top 3. Refresh facts and dates so you stay there.

Limits

This is word-based grouping, not a language model, so it is fast and predictable but literal: "car" and "automobile" land in different topics. Search Console exports do not say which page ranks for each search, so check that before you write - you may already have the page. A pasted keyword list without numbers is grouped by how often words occur instead of impressions.
